Safer Internet Day 2017 will be celebrated globally on Tuesday 7th February with the slogan ‘Be the change: Unite for a better internet’.
Globally, Safer Internet Day is celebrated in over a hundred countries, co-ordinated by the joint Insafe/INHOPE network, with the support of the European Commission, and 31 national Safer Internet Centres across Europe.
In the UK, Safer Internet Day is co-ordinated by the UK Safer Internet Centre.
Anti-Bullying Works is involved throughout the year providing training and workshops on cyberbullying and e-safety and actively supports Safer Internet Day.
Safer Internet Day is held every year on the second day of the week (i.e. Tuesday) of the second week of the second month, so in 2017 it will will take place on Tuesday 7th February with the theme ‘Be the change: Unite for a better internet’!
